[locked from Suguru, Masaru, and Chika]
...Suguru tells me, "Your strength helps build mine." And I... believe him. I would never doubt that man for an instant. But, I just don't understand...

Why is it I'm here...? I've been asking myself this ever since arriving... Everyone in DATS, and so many of the other Tamers here are so... strong, so powerful...

Masaru and Chika, its in their blood... they get it from Suguru... but me? I was just content before to simply support them, and I've been trying to do the same here... but... That can't be why I'm here, can it?

...sorry to bother everyone. I just wanted to get that out, and would rather not worry Suguru and the others over it... They have enough to deal with, as it is...

Miss, I would not concern you with the individual reason for you yourself are here. The path of Circuit-Su, the martial art from my homeworld, teaches us that we should accept where cosmic forces guide us... and in the process, discover our own purpose based on what we've been given.

In short, you need to affirm your path on your own. You will be much happier in the long run.

My apologies if I am speaking too crossly.

Reaffirm my own.. path...

...

...the problem is, I'm not sure what to make of what I've been given...

With all due respect ma'am, then it requires a bit more thought. Let's start here... you have a partner, correct? What is to keep you from becoming a stronger Tamer than you are now, and supporting your family during the inevitable trials that await them?

But... I'm not a fighter... how can I be a stronger Tamer, if all that seems to be is a means to defend this world...?

...

Say, weren't you the one with that other robot friend who was locked up somewhere? ^^

Miss, this world may eventually force us all to become fighters soon.

... Yes I was. We are now, ah... incarcerated together.

...I... see...
...I... don't want to create a situation where Suguru and Masaru would be too worried about me to do what they need to do, either...

...

..oh dear.

I appreciate that, Yoshino. ^_^ But, truth be told, it's you and the others I find myself looking up to... You've all done so much more than I ever could.

But especially you. I really am very happy for you and Masaru, you know.

... Sayuri. You managed to keep up hope in a man's dream and his loyalty to you for ten years. Even after you found out about Yggdrasil, you remained strong.

There's a special kind of strength in that.

...

Thank you. ^_^;

We each have our own strengths and weaknesses...even those of us who may seem really strong. I think part of your strength is in giving your loved ones hope...without you they might fall apart. It might not seem that way but trust me you play just as key a role here as anyone else.

Of course there could always be more that you simply have not realized yet but that's another matter entirely.

I suppose that's entirely possible, but... from my point of view, the ones who give the hope are my husband and children, and those like them... Those that have been out there, fighting, doing something to help everyone...

But, they were all able to take care of themselves here before I came. They didn't fall apart... Suguru, Masaru, Chika... they all survived and pushed forward without me... I wasn't needed, and yet here I am now...

Yes.

I have ... caused some trouble for the digital world in the past, to put it lightly. Because of my past experiences with the digital world, I was quite shocked when I was pulled here a second time and even given a partner.

That depends. There are (judging from what I've seen on the D-comm journals) so many people here who have been to "the digital world" before that it's difficult to say anything for certain.

So I have this friend, Michael. He's a knight -- like the kind you find in story books. All right, his day job is a carpenter, but he also went out and fought all kinds of monsters. And he's married, and has a bunch of kids. His wife, Charity, she's a stay at home mother. No real connection to the supernatural at all. I knew she was strong -- you don't raise good kids like theirs without being strong, especially when Michael keeps odd hours, and is in a dangerous line of work.

But, last summer, when their eldest daughter got kidnapped by fairies when Michael was out on one of his missions, she just strapped on armor with the rest of us and went into the heart of Faerie to get her back. Didn't matter that she wasn't a wizard or have anything special. She just did it.

I guess, what I'm trying to say is that there are many kinds of strength. Just because you don't go out and save the world doesn't mean you aren't strong.
